Unite Union delegates from McDonald’s stores in Auckland meet to discuss claims and elect delegates for the 2013 collective employment agreement negotiations. At the end of the meeting they have a bit of a practice session for what may be required to get a decent contract this year.
my daughter has worked for macdonalds for a year and a half, and she did not know who her union was until we searched google, this is not good enough, form what i have been told, there is discrimination and mistreatment of certain staff and a high ratio of a particular race that gets promoted while other races who have been there for just as long and worked harder has been overlooked, whey is your union not more prominent in some work places and not others?
